Mythological Undertones in the Narrative of the Novel Khushboo ki Hijrat

Abstract:

The evolution of nature and human beliefs has a long history, with human creativity and stories giving rise to mythologies. Mythologies are expressions of civilisational, social, religious, and ethical values that help us understand human beings. This is why mythology is sometimes referred to as the language of rituals, traditions, and beliefs. The novel “Khushboo Ki Hijrat” employs transcendental and mythological narratives, with a complex and meandering plot layered with stories that intersect transcendental and mythological narratives. This story holds the reader’s attention the entire time. The style is simple yet colourful. The novelist has explored the relationship between the complexities of the human psyche and love, resulting in a magical environment. The novel’s uniqueness lies in the way each event aligns with the main plot.
