Cultural Values ​​in Tahira Iqbal’s Novels

Abstract:

In the novels of Tahira Iqbal, cultural, civilised, religious, and ritualistic values are reflected vividly. She has skillfully presented the social, cultural and religious elements in her novels by keeping the two specific regions of Punjab, Pathovar and Neely Bar. For her, the reflection of these values is more the religion of the experience they themselves have gone through while living in this society than imagination. Her novels present an excellent view of Punjab’s civilisation, culture and social values. In this paper, the cultural values presented in Tahira Iqbal’s novels have been examined.
