A Postcolonial Study of the Novel Gardesh-e-Rang Chaman
Abstract:
Post Colonialism, an era that lasted for a few years, but enslaved the colonisers for life. This paper aims to investigate the ever-increasing post-colonialism effects like trauma, identity crisis, binary resistance and sub alter, in the novel “Gardash-e-Range Chaman” by Qurat-ul-Ain Haider. The microscopic analysis of characters shows how the various characters go through the ebb and flow. Their suffering, identity crisis, comparative analysis and resistance are the artistic depiction of post-colonial legacy that can never be shaken off even after it is wrapped up.
